Personal Style?

Fast sketchs done in Mirage software with a Cintiq Tablet. A totally digital and smooth process...I'm loving it! Cintiqs are great.

Those are part of a attempt to develop a personal drawing style. I'm getting into a point where I don't know what my own style is anymore... I'm kind of lost... kind of not shure that I should do everything in just one style etc.... That's a doubt that always strike me, I don't want to spend my hooole life doing the same stuff over and over againg!

Well, people recognize you for your style. If you do everything you end up doing nothing! Unleast nothing recognizable...

Maybe the best way is to create a nickname and create a style for the nickname and them, if someones like it...guess what!? It's you! :)

yea you could do that, but really unless you're going to be an illustrator a style can actually hurt you, especially in animation. theres always exceptions like plympton & quinn etc, but they will only do that style, its so recognized that people wont want anything but those styles from them. i get so sick of me drawing the same style over & over again & i find the exploration the exciting part, why would i want that to stop?

really i think people will want you do stuff for them cuz your skilled, not just cuz you do one style. if they like one thing you did then you can do a lot of that style, know what i mean?
