I started design school in 2002. The next year I was already working as a web designer at Unisys with expertise in Flash animation as well as learning script languages for the web.
In the beginning of 2004 I decided to dedicate myself entirely to animation, left my job and was the first animator to join the 2DLab studio staff.
A year later the design school was just not working anymore, the work was getting too technical and not creative enough. So I left it, enrolled myself in a film school and I started to take additional inspiring life drawing classes (much better!).
The following year was filled with film and animation courses. At that time I also did my own first collective experimental film outside of the studio and I started to dedicate myself to develop my other talents like screenwriting.
In 2007 I left 2DLab to accept the invitation to the Hot House program for new directors at the National Film Board of Canada. There I made my first solo film, called ONE.
Now I'm back in Brazil, working as a animator at Globo Animation in the Visual Effects department, and as a freelancer on various projects for studios like Campo4.
Globo is the 4th largest TV network in the world (right behind CBS, NBC and ABC).
